Fascinated by mixing and scratching since the age of 13, DJ Menson (a New Jersey native) began building up his djing skills in his bedroom never knowing he would later be playing venues such as Stingrays, Jacks, Ashes, Jenks, Flo Bar, Stingers and rockin Joe Pops and On the Deck and most recently The Bulkhead, The Sugar Shack & Windansea. DJ Menson has also been building great relationships with owners, managers as well as clientele at their venues.
Along with night club and lounge work all throughout the Tri-State area, my Mobile Entertainment business has come onto the scene and lifted off with hundreds of successful events such as weddings, sweet 16s, birthday parties, and many more other events. My private bookings are very important to me. I have spoken with clients and potential clients where they have given me prices that the competition has given them; it's crazy. In closing, when I book and event with a customer, they speak with me, not a secretary or an agent. My clients are always pleased with my services, pricing and the personal attention I give them and those that are involved.. That's how I do business and that's how I STAY in business.
Whether I'm spinning house, hip hop, reggae, rock or even doing my well known, live mash-ups for a party or a nightclub; people’s hands are always up and having a once in a lifetime experience. When I'm not DJing, I'm doing the behind the scenes work so that I have the songs, remixes, and tools to raise the raise for other DJs, not just waiting for them in the mail; like others do. I currently brand myself as the “King of Classics, no one plays the classics I do, and I’m glad…that’s my thing and no one can touch it.”
